Children’s Hospitals Week 2022

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending and celebrating the success of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. We were able to gather in person at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, Florida. We had the opportunity to recognize specific individuals, corporate partners and hospitals for their generous contributions as well as hear heartwarming and moving stories from some of the patients who have been served by hospitals within the network. Children’s Hospitals Week 2022 was packed with inspiring stories, valuable best practices and collaborative opportunities designed to empower individuals in creating new and innovative ways to raise critical funds for 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, including Valley Children’s Hospital.

Co-founders John Schneider and Marie Osmond announced CMN has raised more than $8 billion dollars since 1983. The entire network has raised more than $411 million for children’s hospitals in the United States and Canada in 2021. CMN able to accomplish this through corporate partner fundraising, programs such as Dance Marathons and Extra Life, mediathons and more.

Extra Life United was also back for its seventh year! Extra Life United is a charity gaming tournament happening simultaneously with Children’s Hospitals Week. During this event, gamers at home and in-person were able to compete to unlock donations for their local children’s hospital.
