Despite tragically losing Lauryn on January 11, 2012, Lauryn’s mom, Casey, dedicated her life to helping other kids with cancer. Casey enrolled in a nursing program at National University with the intention of becoming a pediatric oncology nurse in the Craycroft unit at Valley Children’s Hospital.
