Meet Sylus! Introducing our 2025 CMN Champion!

We’re thrilled to be introducing Sylus, our 2025 Children’s Miracle Network local champion for Valley Children’s Hospital! Sylus is 10 years old and has a great sense of humor and adventure. He loves telling jokes, playing Roblox games, water skiing and many other activities.

Born with spina bifida, a condition that impacts the spine, Sylus underwent major surgeries shortly after birth and continues to overcome challenges related to mobility and other health issues. Despite all of this, Sylus remains unstoppable. With the expert care he receives from Valley Children’s Hospital and donor-funded programs like Adaptive Sports, he enjoys an active and adventurous lifestyle, including water skiing, golfing and even rock climbing!

Sylus is overjoyed to be named our 2025 CMN Hospitals Champion, and we are excited to collaborate with him and his family in the coming year. Champions like Sylus inspire our work at Valley Children’s, and we are honored to support these incredible children because they are our futures worth fighting for.
