Poker Tournament: Big Win for the Kids

On Friday, November 18 Valley Children’s Hospital hosted a charity poker tournament at Club One Casino with the help of local radio personality Gnarley Charley. The event was our first annual charity poker tournament at Club One Casino and it was a complete success!

With the amazing help of our local poker players, Club One Casino, Gnarley Charley, and generous local partners the tournament raised over $6,000 for CMN Hospitals’ Extra Life benefiting Valley Children’s Hospital!

The tournament featured 40 players, who knew the overall purpose of the event; raising money to help improve the lives of our local children! These players competed for about five hours during which they displayed truly remarkable generosity. Staff and players alike understood the goal of this event and bound together to do something special for Valley Children’s Hospital. The funds raised will certainly make an impact in many a lives.

The night ended with three winners walking away with amazing prizes from our generous sponsors, including Fresno Ag Hardware, Ace Westlake of Northeast Fresno, Costco in Fresno Riverpark and Brent Poppen Wine Cellars.
