Central Valley Walmart and Sam’s Club Stores Raise More than $400,000 for Valley Children’s
2020 has brought much bad news, but in Walmart’s case, this year has provided record breaking numbers for fundraising!
Nationwide, Walmart raised more than $39 million for the CMN Network, which was a 30% increase from 2019. Locally in the Central Valley, 24 Walmart and Sam’s Club stores raised a record grand total of $406,895 for Valley Children’s – 39% more than last year! Wow!
Our top fundraisers this year were at stores in Porterville, Kerman and Visalia. Porterville store #1877 took the lead with $35,115.77, followed by Kerman store #5701 at $30,085.47, and Visalia store #1826 in third place raising $24,259.68. Out of four local Neighborhood Markets, our Clovis store #5633 blew us out of the water by raising $21,453.68! Thank you Walmart!
It was truly incredible to watch our local stores come up with creative ways to keep their employees and their guests engaged. Here are pictures from some of our favorites!
