2023: Our Incredible CMN Partners
As we move into 2024 and begin another year of philanthropic campaigns by our valued partners, we want to first look back and share our appreciation for the many achievements of 2023. Valley Children’s Hospital is incredibly grateful for all of our Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) corporate partners and their contribution to helping us serve the kids in our community. In addition to our corporate partners, we have amazing participants who fundraise for CMN programs, like Extra Life and Dance Marathon, who greatly contributed to making 2023 such a successful year. We’d like to highlight some of the wonderful fundraising achievements of these partners and programs and share some of their impressive 2023 totals.
CMN Programs
Our dedicated group of Extra Life participants raised $33,529 for Valley Children’s Hospital in 2023! Our top gaming team, Heroes Play Games, raised an incredible $7,487.33 this year! Local gaming stores, Crazy Squirrel and Dragon’s Hoard, held exciting tournaments and brought their communities together for Game Day weekend in November, as well as other fun events throughout the year. Our gaming community is growing in 2024, and we can’t wait to see the fun events and streams our gamers and stores have planned for the year!
We are so incredibly grateful for our wonderful community of Greek partners. Phi Mu Sorority has been a dedicated partner. The Eta Zeta chapter at California State University, Fresno and the Eta Sigma chapter at UC Merced held various fundraisers in 2023. The Eta Xi chapter at California State University, Stanislaus had a fun-filled Dance Marathon event, Warriorthon, which raised over $14,000 for Valley Children’s Hospital. We also have wonderful partners at the CA Lambda chapter of Phi Delta Epsilon at UC Merced who held their Stand For The Kids Walk-A-Thon in October. The Epsilon Eta chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity at California State University, Fresno raised $10,000 during Derby Days last year for our hospital. We can’t wait to work with all of our Greek partners for another fun year of philanthropy!
CMN Corporate Partners
ACE Hardware is a dedicated corporate partner and our Central Valley locations had a record-breaking year! In 2023, ACE raised $131,974 for Valley Children’s Hospital. Let’s celebrate ACE for this remarkable milestone.
We are so grateful for the continued partnership of Kiwanis. In 2023, Kiwanis held their 3rd annual “Run 4 The Miracle” event in September, and Kiwanis CAL-NEV-HA also generously presented Valley Children’s Hospital with a grant in support of our Injury Prevention Program. In total, Kiwanis raised $42,145 in 2023!
7-Eleven is one of CMN’s newest partners and we are incredibly grateful to have their support. The dedication of our 7-Eleven partners this year led to $37,566.74 being raised in support of Valley Children’s Hospital!
Love’s Travel Stops raised an incredible $25,828 in 2023. We greatly appreciate our partners at Love’s continued support!
McLane continues to be an incredibly generous CMN partner, raising $23,202 in 2023.
Our wonderful partners at Knight-Swift Transportation raised $19,447 last year.
In 2023, Chevron locations throughout the Central Valley raised $12,900.
We appreciate the continued support and valued partnerships of RE/MAX, JOANN Fabrics, Bob’s Discount Furniture, Dairy Queen, and GameStop locations throughout the Central Valley.
