Wrapping Up A Very Merry 2023

As our team at Valley Children’s prepares to turn the page on 2023 and welcome in a new year, we would like to express our immense gratitude to all our donors, volunteers, sponsors, and CMN partners for an incredible year of giving. There are so many wonderful achievements to celebrate from our remarkable CMN partners, we would like to show our appreciation for their amazing efforts and share some of the highlights of our year.

Costco is an extraordinary CMN partner and our eight Costco locations in the Central Valley had another record-breaking philanthropic year. In May, Costco held their “Month of Miracles” campaign, raising an astounding $923,989! Their truly inspiring work continues to serve as a pillar of generosity and makes such an incredible impact in the lives of the children we serve. Thank you, Costco, for another amazing year!

Walmart and Sam’s Club are valued CMN partners that continue to help make Valley Children’s miracles possible. Our 31 Central Valley locations raised a total of $509,865 during their 2023 campaign! Thank you to Walmart and Sam’s Club for their unbelievable efforts this year, we are so appreciative of this continued partnership. 

KISS Country for Kids Radiothon raised $86,642 over two days! Throughout the event, patient and family testimonies inspired the community to make incredibly generous donations that greatly contribute to the care and support our hospital provides to our local kids.

The annual ABC30 “Future’s Worth Fighting For” Telethon brought the community together in a special one-day event that raised $120,035! Our friends at ABC30 and the many sponsors and volunteers who participated in the telethon played a crucial role in ensuring every child who is treated at Valley Children’s receives the best possible care.

Radio Merced LOBO held a two-day radiothon and raised $46,684! The passion and commitment of the Radio LOBO radio personalities made it possible for our Spanish-speaking community to hear some of the miracle stories and experiences of those treated at Valley Children’s. We cannot express enough how thankful we are to their entire team and to all those who were inspired to give.

We want to send a heartfelt thank you to each one of our partners for their dedication in helping Valley Children’s provide the best possible care to children in the Central Valley. We are incredibly appreciative of our entire community for believing in us and helping us stay true to our mission and we look forward to continuing our work with all of our wonderful CMN partners in the new year.
